Each year a local charity will be honored and a donation will be made from the profits. This year, a donation will be made to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.
We apologize to the Business and residents of Wellington who were so looking forward to hosting our event. Due to circumstances beyond our control we had to move the venue. We do hope you will still attend. We will always be grateful to Mark Henry, Lynne Ellis and Fields on Westlake for supporting our vision and supporting the fact that this event would be a wonderful asset to Prince Edward County and their beloved Wellington especially.
The Fiddle Contest of the Quinte's Isle Bluegrass Celebration will be conducted in true Bluegrass Style. Simplified and for fun! We would hope Fiddlers of all ages and all levels of talent will participate. There are a few differences so we highly recommend reviewing the criteria and governing rules. This contest is a great platform for those wanting to gain experience and for those who are coming back into the instrument.
One of the major differences is we will not have a piano, HOWEVER, we will have many excellent and patient guitar players available to lend a hand!
We want you to let loose, have fun and give it your best!
We will be inviting all winners of all classes to play a tune on our main stage on Sunday!!
